The Treble With Men by Piper Sheldon
5.0
Loved it! I'll admit that even if I haven't been reading the Green Valley Books already, including Piper's previous book in the Scorned Women's Society, I'd still totally have read this book based on the cover alone. The Green Valley books are KILLING it in the cover game, and The Treble With Men is my fave of all of those fantastic covers yet. The gold glitter is everything!! SO good!
Luckily, the story itself ended up being just as fantastic as the cover. Beautiful inside and out. I loved Devlin and Kim so much individually and together. They seemed so different at the start but they were so perfect for each other. Their chemistry was fantastic, and even though there's not a lot of actual sex scenes in the book, the author managed to make it steamy and sensual. I love that it was centered around an orchestra and was full of music. I'll admit, I've seen The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway 18ish years ago, and saw the movie back when it came out, but I do not remember much about the musical at all. So I have no idea what parts of this book paralleled The Phantom plot line, but whether it was spot on or not, I don't even care. It was just so good! Looking forward to more Piper Sheldon books, more SWS books, and more Green Valley books! I've been having so much with these series!
