I found this book to flow better than the author's book "An Abundance of Katherines." I appreciated the reality of the character complexity in that our society often looks at characters as good or evil, but the truth is that most of us have elements of both within our thoughts and behaviors and those elements do not fully define who we are. This book well captured the push-and-pull of goodness and brokenness coming from different places within one's motivation, and rarely do we know other's stories like we think we do.
