The Finish Line by Kate Stewart

2.0

Instead of an extended epilogue, what we received was 500 page third installment that was, in a word: SUPERFLUOUS.

While I enjoyed the opportunity for deeper insight into the men of the Raven’s childhood, and formative years, the constant time jumping was frustrating.

After experiencing very little actual romance in the first two books, I would’ve appreciated not having to wait til well over the halfway mark of this story to have that itch scratched. I would’ve liked to experience more chemistry between the main characters.

I’m sure it was a great undertaking and labor of love for the author, which is why I’ve been a little more generous with my rating than I normally would’ve been. Overall, while it was nice to get a glimpse of Tobias’ point of view, this book was a bit of a chore to read.

P.S. f*** Tessa, she can piss right off
