This was a nice "palate cleanser" type read. It felt almost like more of a novella- I think due to the time taken away from Brittany/Hunter's story to focus on Britt's parents. I did find it to be a bit infuriating when it would switch POV's at times, but I did ultimately end up appreciating Amy and Daniel's story as well. I'm very glad it was included! However, the last several chapters of the book felt extremely rushed. It was very much so a feeling of "oop better hurry up and fix all these issues! everything's all better now!". The ending scenes just felt so out of place and awkward, like "how and why is this happening??". Despite the rushed ending though, the book still pulls off a 3 star rating due to the sweet fluff! Not to mention, as someone with an anxiety disorder, I also really loved the anxiety representation and found Brittany to be almost TOO relatable. And I'm sorry if this is a spoiler, but I appreciate that Brit's anxiety wasn't portrayed as simply magically disappearing one day- that really means alot. I found all of the characters to be so so loveable, and they really carried the story for me! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome, Christian romance! ♡
