Comfort Me with Apples by Catherynne M. Valente

5.0

"She is standing in her beautiful open floor-plan kitchen in her perfect sprawling house holding the tip of a human finger."

The most Piranesi thing I've read since Piranesi, this weird little book clocks in at just over 100 pages. Sophia and her husband live in a perfect home under the strict rules of their HOA. Sophia mostly spends her days home alone, certain that she's happy, until she starts finding strange objects around the house.

I want to immediately read it again.
