This book was so adorable. The romance was toothache-level sweet, but I have to say, my favorite thing about it is the way it handles the friendships of women. Remember how Legally Blonde flipped the script by taking the classic female rivalry and turning it into a friendship? This book does that on an even grander scale and it’s so satisfying. Left and right we have women uniting, women defending one another, women lifting each other up; it’s *chef’s kiss* exquisite.
