Probably a 4.5. There were many aspects of the book I could have done without. There were a lot of names introduced in the beginning of the book when explaining the chain of gossip that went around. Kwan made it his mission to be very detailed about every piece of jewelry, article of clothing, hand bag, furniture, etc. and I personally wasn’t interested in any of that. The storyline was great, once I got a little passed the introduction of new family members and family friends I couldn’t put the book down. I want to read more about what happens with Nick’s family, and Astrid and Michael. I want more!
