Five on a Treasure Island by Enid Blyton
4.0

I loved this book and the Famous Five Series while growing up. Grade five to six me was eating this book up, and rereading it, I still do love it but I guess I don't love it as much cause of the new way I've seen it?

I love the fact there wasn't any romance, it was just action and figuring out the thieves, gaining new friends and changing your point of views and livelihoods.

Also, I would recommend rereading books you read as a child as rereading books you read as a child is so eye opening and weird well in the books case “queer” cause I realized that “George” wanted to be trans and I just thought she was a Tom boy or maybe I'm not perceiving the book properly again.

But it also brings to light other topics in a nice friendly light that you don't notice how dark everything can stem but it's not even that dark, the book is really nice, light and fun. A definite recommend.
