This series is everything my lil burned-out, overwhelmed brain needs right now. Everything about these books is just easy and fun.

I liked Willa so much, she was much more my kind of FMC than Summer and it was refreshing to have a woman in her 20s actually have some agency and confidence rather than being written as a lost little puppy in need of a man to help her find the way. I also liked that she didn’t know where she was going or what she was doing but was chill about it? I feel like that’s such a relatable thing to see in a character of her age and it’s so validating to see someone just figuring stuff out as she goes on the page.

Cade is okay, I’m not like a huge fan of the whole Broody Quiet Thing but he redeemed himself later on by being an excellent communicator/secure king.

These books are exactly what I need right now along with a blankey and a cup of tea, they’re not like mind blowing books but they are such good fun 💗
