Oooh gosh this book is by far one of the best sexy books I have read. I don't easily give 5 stars to erotic books as that rating means it really had to blow me away, and that's just not as likely with a genre that is more about simple enjoyment. But damn this book was something. I guess it didn't blew me away as in "omg this is amazing", but it blew me away in the sense that I had the most fun reading that I've had in a long while.

For the first few chapters each of them introduces a new school of magic and the kinks that belong to it. I absolutely loved how the kink was just as much part of the worldbuilding than it served it's role for a good sex scene. It gave a whole new vibe to it all that made me totally love it. With this the chapters had a good balance with non sexual bits and smutty parts that together made it work really well.
For the later chapters the story picks up more and Dom, while still being an absolute beginner, starts to find his place in the Crux. With this some schools of previous chapters come back and get more attention and explanations how they work that are immediately put into practice.

As well a big part of this Wizard School's values is consent and I loved how this stayed a central point and never forgotten how essential this is. It is a big part in the first chapters when Dom is mainly learning new things, but it is even more essential to the bigger story plot that happens in the second half. I thought it great how the story basically evolved around it and wasn't something just simply mentioned. Instead it was shown what happens when consent is not given which gives a whole lot more weight than only warnings form Dom's teachers.

When I finished this book I straight up downloaded the preview of the next book as you can do on kindle because I was so not done with this book and I'm very exited to continue this story.
