WOW. This was absolutely unreal. I told myself to savour it but I couldn’t put it down. Incredible pacing and mystery while seamlessly weaving in the past and present, and the relentlessness of racism and misogynoir. Haunting and complex and stunningly written, not to mention SO creative and original.
