basicallykris10 's review for:
Seraph
by Lily Mayne
I was most excited for this one so I was a little let down that Seraph spends well over half of the book still in a cage. A lot of the conflict was very repetitive. And the characters are barely able to actually communicate with each other until about halfway through the book. Which I feel like should have happened earlier so that the relationship progression was a little less power-imbalanced.
Honestly the story didn’t go the way I thought it would. The reveal about Seraph was pretty obvious, which was disappointing cuz I was really hoping for some sort of plot twist. In fact, there was a lot of set up for potential plot twists that didn’t end up happening.
Also, where are Seraph’s clothes?????
