Xiran does it again. What a great book. Simultaneously about the importance of connecting to your roots, but not being afraid to question the legends we learn about them, as well as being a rollercoaster of an adventure through Chinese legend. A lot of love and care is clearly present for these characters and the setting. Xiran is an author to watch.
