The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton, James Patterson

4.0

Book Rating 8/10:

I've been wanting to read this one for a while now and I'm thankful it wasn't a letdown. It reminds me of the show 24. But instead of experiencing the exploits of a Jack Bauer type of character, we follow the President of The United States of America.

The plot is face-paced but I at times felt the President going off on his own without security was a little unbelievable for my tastes. The book is well written and pretty terrifying as this could happen. It's scary how much our lives rely on technology.

The book is very patriotic and very rah, rah go team. Which I'm not going to lie had me rolling my eyes from time to time. But besides that I definitely think this is a must-read book if you're into political thrillers.
