Ghost Eaters
by Clay McLeod Chapman
This is one of the most disturbing books I have ever read. It goes through grief, loss, addiction, ghosts and so much more. It left me wide eyed and gaping through most of the book. The way addiction is depicted is so utterly raw. There are no words I can find other than how purely disturbed I was reading it. The anxiety throughout reading was unimaginable. Took up the entirety of my day. Absolutely heartbreaking and soul crushing ending. Sometimes no matter how hard you fight you can't win. Some people are like black holes. They suck every living breathe out of you. In the end its better to let them go before they suck you dry and theres nothing left.
