The Institute by Stephen King
4.0
This is my second ever Stephen King book (don't judge I'll read more when I retire) and this was so good. At one point I was wondering why Tim had been mentioned in the beginning and I was happy to see him pop back up and things all tie together. It's crazy how one decision can put you where you need to be...or sometimes where you don't need to be and can change your life and others forever. I loved me some Luke, Avery, Sha, and Nicky. Those sweet babies. I hate they had to suffer the way they did and I hate Avery died but at least he died knowing he was loved and had friends. That tore me up! Maureen was a real one at the end. I'm glad she knew to get footage on the flash drive. The doctors and staff at the institute were so damn horrible. I'm glad that damn Mrs. Sigsby got pow pow'ed. Of course this has my tin hat tingling and now I'm wondering if Institutes like this really exist.
