A Poisonous Cure by Nyte Roze

Did not finish book.
Gotta mark this as a DNF. I really tried but couldn’t finish this one. I found myself flipping back to see which year I was in, the characters weren’t engaging and I found it unrealistic that the type of bullying going on in this book is happening IN COLLEGE. It can’t even be explained by hazing. It was just juvenile, “stay away from my man” drama that belongs in a bully romance.

Further, I grew frustrated with the FMC and MMC to the point where I just didn’t care anymore. And when that happens, it’s best to cut my loses. Sorry. This could have been a very good book but the jumping back and forth years was too much. I think even the author became confused as in present day, her paintings sold for a million dollars and in the next scene taking place in 2020, she’s talking about the million dollars her paintings sold for with her parents. Huh?!

Sorry… I just could not go further.
