Fuel the Fire
by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie
UPDATE: This book was shit. I have no *newfound* respect for Rose and Connor. I don't love their relationship. Connor will ALWAYS be sussy and I will forever loathe him. This book put me in a reading slump and it was so fucking boring. I don't have a smile on my face when I think about these books. I am not happy when I think about these books. And finally, Raisy is NOT my favourite couple.
4.5/5 stars!
This book was really good! I definitely have this newfound respect for Rose and Connor and this book made me really love their relationship more than I did before. Tbh, Connor still is a bit sussy bc of his *erotic* sexual actions and the anal sex - that was interesting.
The only reason why I'm not giving this book a 5 stars is bc I found that it dragged on a lot during some parts of the book. Honestly, I got bored reading it and couldn't motivate myself to pick it up at times. Some bits could've been definitely cut out and weren't essential to the story.
But alas, when I finished this book, I had this huge smile on my face and I felt a sense of happiness and contentment. I don't know how these books do it, but they give me many happy hormones - they manage to get me out of a rut and I am very grateful for them.
I love how we don't just see the main character's lives, we also see the lives and problems of the other Core Six. The found family in this book is so beautiful and I actually want relationships like this in my life..
Very excited to pick up Long Way Down and read my favourite couple, Raisy's story!!
