I was between .5 and .75, but the last story kinda saved it and I’m gonna leave it like this.
Some of the stories were interesting, but more of them were boring or just too descriptive without anything truly happening. Or maybe it’s just me and I don’t get this style of writing. Though I did enjoy how some stories were written. Could also be the translation? I don’t know.
I enjoyed some, was bored for the most (mainly the second half).
I also expected this to be more creepy as this is under the horror category. It wasn’t really horror to me and most of the stories were just weird.
The Solitary Ones was probably my favorite story despite it being written in second person - which I’m not fully sure if I like or dislike because I haven’t read anything else written like that before (except other stories in this collection). I felt like it was the only one that felt eerie to me.
