Must have been in the Beach Reads recommendations. Story is about 3 friends who, near the end of college, lose a friend to suicide and make a pact to always be there for each others’ worst moments. A few years later, one of them has a rock-bottom moment, and the other two whisk her off on a trip. During this trip, their friendship is stretched to accommodate new revelations. The candy-colored cover is a great signal of what’s coming—a pack of M &Ms, a snack that’s really meant for hunger tastes.
