 It has some nice ideas, but it's also a pretty basic worldbuilding, pretty basic plot-line, pretty basic characterization.

(Hot take: having characters living for hundreds of years doesn't work most of the time. Confirmed here) 

As for the audiobook, still not my cup of tea, but the narrator was quite good.
