Tempting Promises is a seriously obsessive, wonderfully steamy, enemies to lovers story between two longtime rivals, Rowan and Charlotte. When a work contract comes up that will save both of their farms for the foreseeable future, they both go for it. But the universe has plans to throw Rowan and Charlotte together at every turn and the constant “hateful” tension is *chefs kiss* I was so invested in this story from reading a previous book and Rowan and Charlotte’s story was PERFECT!
I saw a lot of myself in Charlotte and the way she tries to take everything on herself and just wants to fix things. I did feel for her and the way she thought she needed to be alone because everyone left anyway
