I knew from the very first page of this book this one probably wouldn't be the most popular in the series because of Christopher's behavior. However, I think it is probably the funniest.
Christopher is the youngest of the Miles brothers and very early we realize he is the typical spoiled, entitled rich kid. Only he is a grown man. The predicaments this man gets himself into are hilarious, particularly after those closest to him call him out on his personality flaws. So he gets this brilliant idea he is going to go backpacking through Europe. Hilarity ensues.
Hayden, the fmc, has grown up on a farm learning animal husbandry. She goes backpacking through Europe at the request of her family, wanting her to get out and see the world. I really loved her character. Watching her friendship with Christopher bloom is surprisingly sweet, considering the character we are introduced to at the beginning of the book.
By the time we reach the last page, I think Cristopher is the character who goes through the most personal growth in this book. Yes, it's a process. Yes, at times you will probably hate him but the journey is worth it.
