How do you even write a blurb for this book?

Midnight Valentine by JT Geissinger

4.5 stars

This book almost scored a perfect 5 up until the 80% mark, but then it didn’t because that last part felt a bit rushed to me, and I needed a little more closure and clarity on certain things.

Other than that, I appreciated the book for how unique it was. I love it when a book blows my preconceptions of what I’d usually like and not like out of the water, and this book did that quite effectively. I would’ve been mildly hesitant to give this a chance if I’d read the blurb or known more about the story starting out. I love the author’s poetic storytelling voice, and how she could soothe me and make me smile even through the copious tears I was shedding for Megan and Theo and their heartbreaking story. Also, there’s just something about the Beast hero that gets me every time. I’d recommend going in blind, just like I did, so as to not be swayed by any biases about the story
