Babayaga by Toby Barlow

3.0

Lots of stuff going on in this book: Witches, spies, murder, Nazis, Paris in the fifties, people being turned into fleas. Writing is good, characters well fleshed out. A lot of interesting meditations on gender roles and love done in a way that is way less boring than that sounds.

I enjoyed it but thought it lagged a bit in the middle. The ending is amazing.
