Blindsided by Amy Daws

3.0

Type of read: Lunch/Weekend Read.

What made me pick it up: I downloaded 'Blindsided' during the Stuff Your Kindle event.

Overall rating: I love reading complicated stories with extensive worlds and diverse, complex characters, but sometimes, a girl needs something quick, easy, and smutty. I'm not above saying that I enjoy a good smut reading session, so when it came to Stuff Your Kindle Day and the goal is basically to download as many books as I possibly can, 'Blindsided' ended up in my Kindle library. Other than the fact that I hated the FMC - you can have a 30-year-old virgin that isn't a complete and utter twat and doesn't say things like 'the sex' - overall, I enjoyed 'Blindsided.' In terms of content, it's relatively tame and if you can get past Freya being an absolutely retched character that has no redeeming qualities, you too, might finish 'Blindsided.' Very much got 'The Duff' vibes.

Reader's Note: 'Blindsided' includes themes of sex, teaching sex, and friends to lovers romance trope.
