i appreciated the author’s decision to write the story in the POV of the character who died (it was giving Society of the Snow), and how it tried to touch on people’s “what would you have done” psychology when in a calamity especially if it’s your own family.

but it was not enough for me to like it.

the writing was so choppy, childlike.
the book at like 90+ chapters??? not necessary.
i did Not like how the only autistic character in the book was treated, during and post accident.

the climax came in too early in book. or maybe the ending dragged way too long. the characters had hardly any depth (i was rooting for the detective but he was written out too soon).

not a recommendable book.
