Going to college is nerve-wracking at the best of times. This novel brought back a lot of the memories of moving away from home and living on my own for the first time, wondering who I would meet.
This novel was a quick, fun read. Even though it was lighter in tone, it still kept a good amount of romantic tension and had me smiling as I read. It was a fun spin on the fake dating trope. I loved the dynamic between Hell and Earth, so I wish it was explored just a little bit more. Other than that, the characters felt unique, if a little young, which is to be expected in a college romance, and honestly, I think they both grew a lot throughout the book. I feel that the romance between Owen and Zarmenus developed very organically, and the pining and banter kept me invested and turning pages way past my bedtime!
If you like LGBTQ+ romances, enemies-to-loves, fake dating, and forced proximity, then you'll like this!
Thank you to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for a copy of this ARC in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
