This book was good.  I probably would have rated it a bit higher, except that there were a few instances of using somewhat iffy indigenous terms that rubbed me the wrong way (several times saying they were ‘part of the tribe’ or ‘using the language of the tribe’, and one other near the beginning that I don’t recall the specifics of right now).  I know that this book came out in 2015 and that folks were perhaps not cognizant of using indigenous terms like this, but it’s still not an excuse.  To me it just feels lazy, like the author couldn’t be bothered to come up with their own terms.

Overall I found the story enjoyable, it kept my interest, but it wasn’t really anything too special.  Random vacation hookup, but it turns out one of them is the other’s brand new boss, will they, won’t they, this isn’t appropriate, but they can’t help themselves.  Not overly original, but still enjoyable.  Will likely continue with the rest of the series.
