Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear

3.0

This was a 3.5 star for me. The book wasn’t bad. It oversimplified how to create new habits and why we struggle to achieve our goal of sticking with said habits. It condensed other ideas or prior works on habits, written in an easy, approachable manner which works well for certain audiences.

I liked the first half more than the second, although there were a few good tidbits I felt the book could have been shortened immensely which would have made it more enjoyable. As I got to the last 1/3 I found myself checking how far I was from the end (I do not normally do this), and I think this was caused by the repetition of examples.

I do know this book can and will help some people, because my husband found it very useful and implemented some of his tips.
