Oh my good GOD. I saw a recommendation on tiktok months ago for this book, added it to my tbr, fell into a reading slump, picked up Freida McFadden’s newest book “The Crash” and quickly finished that up. Scrolling through my ungodly large tbr list in my notes app, I stumbled upon THIS. I have not read any of John Marrs’ work prior to this and now I cannot wait to dig in deep because quickly… very quickly, this has made it into my top 5 favourites. Holy COW. I recommend this a million times over and of course, check your trigger warnings!
