This book definitely put me into a figure skating obsessed mood and I had to stop and watch The Cutting Edge when I was around half in.

I hadn't read much about the book before picking it up, so I was surprised that it was smutty. Pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the dynamic and the characters and the drama!

I immediately hated that Stas wore super tall high heels though. In no world will I believe a person who skates several hours a day will put on stilletos to wear for a whole party.

I will mention what I disliked below, in the spoiler. But other than that, I enjoyed this read. It made me hungry for more stories like this, but in a visual form. I really want to see the sexy hockey players play and and the sexy people figure skate.

So I'd recommend it as a cute wintery read with sex and drama, and also healthy communication skills - that we don't often see in stories like this. Kudos for that.

It isn't really the book's or the story's fault that I hate pregnancy in books. As soon as Stas let Nate cum into her I felt like I might drop the book, so I'm glad the author left their happy parents thing for the epilogue. I just don't view it as "and they lived happily ever after" scenario.

Don't get me wrong, if people want babies let them have them, but I'd rather not read about that in my horny fiction.

Also, Stas said she wanted to adopt, so I do hope they will adopt a kid after they have their own.
