Reading all the extras just makes me want to re-read the whole series all over again 😭
It actually shocks me to see others say they skip certain extras or all of it entirely just because they don’t deem them that important. All these extras, in their own light, show how great these characters are and how much they change by the end of the series.
We get to see the inner workings of how Airplane adapted to this world and how he’s getting his ending, and we get more insight into Shen Jiu’s life and Luo Binghe’s parents. Granted it took me a minute to finally get around to reading them, but they’re still funny and heart wrenching along with the rest.
What I love the most though is seeing how Bingqiu operates as a pair now. Shen Qingqiu allows himself to be more open in his affections and inner thoughts and in turn Luo Binghe is free to be emotional as he pleases and feels more secure in his place at Shen Qingqiu’s side. Skipping ANY of these extras is just a wasteful opportunity to see them be goofy and happily in love at the end of the story. They’re insane for each other and they’re so valid for that ❤️
