Catching Contentment: How to be Holy Satisfied by Liz Carter

hopeful inspiring reflective medium-paced

3.0

This devotional interweaves the author's personal experience with lung disease, Bible passages, prayers, and reflection questions. As a leftist Christian minister with chronic illness and disability, I didn't find this book particularly helpful or ground-breaking, but I absolutely believe it would be really helpful for conservative Christians struggling with their experiences of chronic illness and disability, especially as a balm amidst ableist theology. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this copy in exchange for my honest review.
