Just Don't Call Me Yours by Heather Garvin

3.5

Cute and simple college romance
The story was overall pretty cute but it definitely lacked depth. I feel like we didn’t really get to know the characters in any great detail. The conflicts were pretty surface level and sometimes a bit juvenile. The relationship came together pretty quickly and surprised me a little bit. I would have liked a little more build up but I still enjoyed it.
I didn’t love all the specific music references. Too many real-world references take me out of the story a bit, but it’s to be expected in a story about music and it’s also just a personal preference.
I enjoyed the book overall and I would read more from the author.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
