I know I shouldn’t compare a book to its movie adaptation, but I honestly only read this book because I liked the movie and needed answers about that cliff hanger ending. Well, this book doesn’t answer any questions about the ending, but was adapted really well overall. As with all adaptations, I feel like the book was slightly better because there were several things in the film that didn’t make sense or weren’t explained but were addressed early on in the book. I recently found out that there are three books in the series and while I’ll read the second I’m not sure I’ll read the third at this point.
