There is a lot to unpack in this novel. The plot, and multitude of vividly unique and colorful characters add to the rawness and fierceness of the book. I enjoyed reading it thoroughly, and had moments where it brought me to tears. I love books that can be analyzed from multiple perspectives, and this book is just that. It can can be looked at from different lenses like the Marxist, Psychoanalytic, and the Feminist.
