3.5 stars. I don't know why I didn't like it more. The characters just felt flat to me. there was something about her writing style that was too succinct instead of being more descriptive and more vivid. There was also a lot of dialogue, which slowed the pace down a lot, without ever drawing it out enough to make the scenes wholesome.

I agree with another reviewer when they say that this is a light read. it's a super light read. Alright as a summer book, but don't expect to get incredibly invested.
