Okay so this took me a while to fully get into but I’m so happy I stuck it out.
I’m such a sucker for the happy girl and grumpy boy trope so this just made me melt at the best of times, there were so many little warm moments that just made me smile.
About halfway in I couldn’t stop reading, I just wanted more and the only way I could get it was to keep reading obvs. I’m just a bit bitter that it took that long to make me fall into it.
It was such a classic kind of love story and had the key love moments that make a romance.
My main issue comes with the cliches that were written in some of the characters, they felt very formulaic at times which just kind of ruined them for me when I was so ready to love them.
There weren’t any cats :((
