Kills Well With Others lacks the spark of the first book. The characters feel watered down, and the novel concept of senior citizen assassins is barely there (save a few menopause jokes). The book takes too long for the pieces to come together and the mission isn't clear. The world building is still strong, and it's a relatively easy read.
Graphic: Blood, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Animal cruelty, Animal death
