Fit for the Throne: The Trial of Ten by S. McPherson

3.0

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Where do I start? this book people! I never thought I needed a book about a supernatural reality show filled with blood and winged men until this book came my way. Varialla is a beautiful and broken woman from a life in which she has always been rejected and to which she feels she does not belong, until she is kidnapped and taken to a world of fantastic creatures to participate in a supernatural reality show and yet she still does not belong. I liked Varialla's character from the beginning because she doesn't let anyone humiliate her (she does it enough by herself already) and she always finds a way out of embarrassing situations with a smile and her head held high. Her relationship with the tall, dark and sexy af protagonist is delicious (and often infuriating, did I mention he has WINGS?) and I loved the tension of the "enemies to lovers" that we are given from the beginning. I love fantasy and the truth is that I am looking forward to learning more about the world of Fit for the Throne and its characters. I laughed a lot, almost dropped my Kindle on the floor in despair and ended up in tears at the end, fingers crossed that this pair has a happy ending.
