Reading Under the Covers
Oh my gawd!
I absolutely live the world that Chloe Neill has made. It’s phenomenal. And her writing even better.
I was so excited to start the next book in Merits Story and see where it went especially considering where it ended and I was disappointed.
Merit is still adjusting to being a new vampire while actually keeping the vampire at bay and doing her job at the same time. Her attraction to her Boss, Master and Leige, her denial to all of this and her forced romance with a certain new Master Vampire.
After the last book finished we pick up pretty much where the last one ended and Merit has a job to do one that once again tests the boundaries and loyalties of everyone in Merits world.
Merit takes her job very seriously while trying to not cross the lines with her new boss but things are hard when they are forced to work together.
This story was just brilliant. It brought everything the last book had and more. The characters we’re brilliant and I absolutely loved them.
The whole storyline was amazing and it totally flowed. I loved this book as much as the last one.
I can’t wait to see where Merits life goes next.
