Sweet Nostalgia!
For me, Camp Half-Blood Chronicles is a comfort read, a safe space, warm hugs in the from of a book. Reading one after so long has been a lovely adventure.
'The Chalice of the Gods' takes place between 'Heroes of Olympus' and 'Trials of Apollo'. Percy is on the verge of graduating high school in due time to get enrolled into New Rome University together with Annabeth. But he needs three recommendation letters from three gods in order to do that. So Percy, Annabeth and Grover - the og trio - are back at quests, in hope of getting Percy those recommendations.
The quest this time is not nearly earth-shattering, doomsday-preventing as the previous books. But it was equally funny, breezy and adventurous. I can't wait to read what Uncle Rick brings next.
