When I've heard of this book, I thought it would interest me like with other dystopian novels. The plot seemed fair and I enjoyed the first half of the book, but honestly the last half went downhill. It didn't seem that interesting and some of the parts and the romance was hard to get into. However, I enjoyed the rest of the book when The Testing was over. I hope I'll enjoy the rest of the trilogy when I read the sequel. I give The Testing a 4.1 rating
