There is a lot of hype around this book and it didn't live up to it. It's strength lies in the personal narrative. Important historic storytelling. The rest is fairly straightforward. We all have a purpose/choices about how to live... It's true but not groundbreaking. Without the backdrop of personal experience it would be your basic bloviation.

The masculine pronoun also became tiresome after awhile ... It's all about man...
