Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
5.0

This novel shows just how easy it is to construct ideologies and ego delusions that allow one to rationalize literally anything and assume an air of superiority and separation in relation to others. Maybe to some extent we all do this? Being right feels better than being wrong. And it's often easier to convince yourself that you're right than to admit you're wrong. Anyway.

This is a must read for anyone who thinks they are a superhuman, who looks down on others, who thinks they can optimize their bodies to the extent of not needing to poop so that when people say to them, "You think your shit doesn't stink just like the rest of us?" they can reply, "I do not poop, so no."
