So... Based on the blurb and the tropes I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this book. It felt very much like "this story has been told before, many times". However, since I planned to read books 1, 3 and 4 I thought I'd just read this one as well.

And I have to say I liked it more than I thought I would. Biggest part is probably that the marriage only comes in fairly late into the book. It's also not a big ass topic and there is no third act breakup ("ohh I'll break up with him first because otherwise he'll break up with me because this marriage is fake").

I like the suddle disability rep in the book, we got ASL (not much but still something), dyslexia and migraines. And Pico falling in love with her has to be my favorite micro plot!

However, this story has still been told before. So, that I combination with the amount of smut scenes (feel like we could've skipped a few), could've probably shorten the book.

But I still don't want to give this book less than 3.75 stars, because I did really enjoy it.
