Personally I had become put off by Picoults books as I didn't find them to be pulling me into the story but from page one of this one I was hooked. I couldn't put it down and from the very beginning I warned to Katie's character and just kept reading to find out what happened to her. I'm glad I decided to read picoult again but do believe personally her earlier books are her best.
