Suitor Armor, Volume 1
by Purpah
Absolutely wonderful. I had never heard of this webtoon before I received this ARC from NetGalley. I devoured the entire Volume 1 in one sitting. Then, I needed more, so I decided to sign up for WebToon specifically to continue this story. I read the remaining 100 episodes in about 2 more hours, and its safe to say this is my new obsession. The whole series is amazing and I have already pre-ordered the physical copy that releases in November.
Now, specifically, Volume 1 was great. The story within this set of chapters was sweet and endearing. All of the characters are amazing. It reminds me a lot of She-Ra: The Princesses of Power or The Dragon Prince - both in art style and in characterization. Even the "side characters" have fleshed-out stories. The world-building and magic systems are well thought out and seamlessly introduced without feeling like a lore dump. I loved the bonus chapter at the end. The only complaint I have is how short the volume is - lol! I would recommend this series to anyone.
