The second I saw the blurb for Welcome to the Fae Cafe I knew I had to read it immediately! The first book in the High Court of the Coffee Bean follows Kate Kole who is just trying to enjoy her latte and favorite book. Her world is turned upside down when she overhears a patron at the coffee shop berating the barista and steps in…accidentally killing him! The issue? When she turns herself into the police no one at the coffee shop remembers her even being there! Unbeknownst to her, the patron she killed was actually a Fae assassin and his death sets off a sequence of events she thought only existed in fantasy novels!
